About Our Client
Our client is a leading MNC in the food and beverages industry. They are looking to hire a Plant head for their manufacturing unit based in Andhra Pradesh
Job Description
- Leading the deployment of the organization’s Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies and objectives in the plant
- Chalking out growth plans for the plant in alignment with the business strategy and ensuring appropriate up-gradation/ expansion of facilities from time to time in order to meet the growth plans
- Defining and monitoring responsibilities, authorities, and inter-relationships of all personnel of the plant
- Tracking and reviewing the Overhead spends and ensuring adherence to budget numbers
- Monitoring the cost of manufacturing and ensuring continuous improvement in terms of cost reduction
- Over viewing of General Administration and Finance
- Ensuring the Production planning is done as per the market requirement and deliveries are made as per the plan
- Ensuring goal setting for all members of the plant and continuously monitoring their performance so as to ensure the plant’s objectives and targets are met
- Interacting and interfacing with both internal and external environments to facilitate the implementation of growth plans apart from the consolidation of ongoing operations
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate is an engineer with 15+ years of experience in the FMCG industry majorly in the food and beverages segment. They should have hands-on experience in managing end-to-end plant operations. They should have exposure to handling teams such as production, process, maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain along with overlooking the support functions. They should have clear and concise communication skills and should have the ability to manage cross-functional teams. They should possess an understanding of the local language.
