Role: Proposal Writer

Work Location: Chennai or Bengaluru

Shift Timings: 12.45 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Participates in storyboarding sessions, key review meetings/final document review, content sign off and document production.
• Contributes to proposal development by helping in assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation;
• Writes proposals in clear, simple and effective language instead of formal, convoluted technical-speak.
• Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
• Maintains proposal support databases and knowledge base.
• Obtains approvals by reviewing proposals with key providers and project managers.
• Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.

Minimum Qualification And Experience

• At least 5+ years of work experience in writing proposals and managing proposal writing in response to RFPs.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• High level of proficiency in MS-Office applications.
• Experience in coordinating and updating a knowledgebase system is beneficial.
• Ability to coach sales teams and subject matter experts in writing best practice.
• Proposal automation software (or similar) experience.
• Experience in MSFT is beneficial
