Arena Corporate Private Credit is seeking to hire an Analyst with 1-2 years of post-undergraduate Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity or Private Credit experience to be an integral member of the growing investment team.

The candidate should be comfortable and capable in deal execution role, working closely with the firms Vice Presidents and Managing Directors to execute complex direct private credit investments and to support the team’s new deal origination efforts providing research and thoughtful strategies to increase the volume of new deals. Candidates will play an integral role in deal execution as part of a fundamentals driven due diligence process.

This individual will support the entire investment process, including helping to source transactions, completing industry research, performing detailed financial model analysis, and writing investment memos.

Deal teams typically consist of three investment professionals (Analysts, Vice President, Managing Director), requiring Analysts to be extremely proactive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, intellectually curious, detail oriented and possess the ability to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize investment opportunities. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) to quantify an investment thesis along with its related risks and mitigating factors.

This candidate must thrive in a private credit culture and have the potential to grow into a larger role at the firm. Arena provides lower middle market investments (loans and structured equity) to predominantly founder owned and operated businesses. The Corporate Private Credit team partners with its portfolio companies to provide liquidity in complex situations and partner to stimulate organic and inorganic growth.
