1. Violin – Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Violin) from a Government recognized Institute

2. Mridangam – Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Mridangam) from a Government recognized Institute

Essential minimum prescribed qualification:

 i. Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen / PWDs candidates and in case of Applicants who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.

Note: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk – Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 Words per minute (w.p.m) in English or 25 Words per minute (w.p.m) in Hindi within a period of 2 years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional. OR

ii. Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT for technician categories. OR

iii. Matriculation (10^th) plus ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT for technician categories.

வயது வரம்பு: (01.01.2025 தேதியின்படி)

1. Violin – 18 to 30 years

2. Mridangam – 18 to 30 years

உச்ச வயது வரம்பு தளர்வு:

For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years

For OBC Candidates: 3 years

For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years

For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years

For PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

For Ex-Servicemen Candidates: As per Govt. Policy
