- Sampling and testing of Incoming material like cement, sand, aggregate, rockfill material, bricks, bitumen, and concrete, etc., details are given below,
- Aggregate testing as per IS 2386 Parts 1 to 4.
- Cement test as per IS 4031: Part 11, IS 269, IS 1489: Part 1, IS 455.
- Concrete testing as per IS 10262, IS 516 part 1 to 12, IS 1199.
- Soil Testing as per IS2720 Part 1 to 46.
- Tests on piles as per IS2911 parts 1 and 4.
- Tests on Brick and Blocks as per IS 5454, IS 1077, IS 2185: Part (1, 3), and IS3495 Part 1 to 4.
- Ground supporting systems as per EFNARC-1996, IS 10262, IS 9012, IS 6066, and ACI 506R-90.
- Embankment tests as per IS 2720 –Parts 1 to 41, ASTM D5030, DIN 1834, TP BF-StB Part B 8.4.
- Rock testing as per IS 13030, IS10050, IS10082, IS8764, IS 9143, and ISRM manual.
- Road and Asphalt test as per MORTH/ MORD requirement and Hydraulic Engineering requirement.
- Any other specific test assigned by QMDS /CQA
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for cross-functional team’s information and review.
- Complete all test mentioned in work order without any delay for third-party services.
- Ensuring all laboratory equipments are in working condition and ensure timely calibration.
- Assuring completeness of checklists and formats.
- Optimize test procedures and formats.
- Prepare and maintain required documents for NABL accreditation. Maintain the lab in compliance to NABL requirements
- Train the subordinates.
- Liaison with all for smooth conduct of tests and inspections
