South Central Railway
Online Applications are invited from the candidates residing in districts coming under South Central Railway Jurisdiction only & fulfilling the prescribed conditions stipulated in this notification for engagement of 4103 apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962.

Educational Qualification: (As on)
| The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board and also possess ITI Certificate in the trade notified from the institutes recognised by NCVT/SCVT.
The Candidate should possess the required qualification as on date of submitting online application. ITI Certificates issued by Institutes affiliated to NCVT/SCVT are compulsory in the relevant trades as under
Note: Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for apprenticeship in response to this notification as they are governed by a separate scheme of apprenticeship. Wards/dependents of Railway employees (as per Pass Rules) can also apply online directly. |
Age Limit:
| – The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the cut-off date for receiving online applications i.e., 30-12-2022. |
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SCR official Notification 2023 for more reference.

Application Fee/Exam Fee:
| Application Fees (Non-refundable) – Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only). Transaction charges for online payment, if any, shall be borne by the candidate.
Mode of Payment Application fees to be paid online through any of the following modes: (i) Net Banking of SBI and Internet Banking of other Banks. (ii) SBI ATM-cum Debit Card and other Banks Debit Cards (iii) Credit Cards (iv) SBI UPI. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates/Female candidates of all communities/PwBD candidates. |

Candidate(s) fulfilling all the above clearly laid down criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the SCR website in the careers webpage under current openings section i.e. https://scr.indianrailways.gov.in/ from 30.12.2022 to 29.01.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
