Educational Qualification:
| 1. Scientific Assistant – B (Civil) – Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. |
| 2. Scientific Assistant – B (Computer) – Diploma in Computer Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. OR B.Sc. in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks. |
| 3. Scientific Assistant – B (Electrical) – Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. |
| 4. Scientific Assistant – B (Instrumentation) – Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. |
| 5. Scientific Assistant – B (Mechanical) – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. |

Age Limit:
| 1. Scientific Assistant – Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 30 years. |
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:
| 1. Scientific Assistant – Level-6 of Pay Matrix and Initial basic Pay ₹ 35,400/- p.m. (As per 7th CPC) |
Selection Process:
In case of receipt of large number of applications, a screening test (written test) will be conducted. The test will be of objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions) in the respective subject/discipline. The final selection will be solely based on the performance in the personal interview.
