Educational Qualification: (As on 17.03.2023)
| 1. Income Tax Inspectors – Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent |
| 2. Tax Assistants – (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent & (ii) Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour. |
| 3. Multi Tasking Staff – Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board |
| Sports Eligibility: Proficiency will be evaluated with reference to the following criteria in descending order of preference:-Sportspersons having represented (i) A state or the country in a National or International Competition in any of the games/sports as mentioned in Notification Para 3; or(ii) Their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the games/sports as mentioned in Notification Para 3 ; or(iii) The State Schools Team in the National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by All India School Federation in any of the games/sports as mentioned in Notification Para 3; or (iv) Sportspersons who has been awarded National Awards in Physical efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.Note: The best three performances in the calendar years 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 & 2018 (after 01.01.2018) will be considered for evaluation. |
Evidence In Support Of Merit In Sports Events/Games: Only certificates awarded by the authorities mentioned hereunder will be taken into account as evidence in support of having participated in competitions in any of the above Sports/Games while considering eligibility of the candidates. A candidate who cannot produce self-attested copies of at least one certificate issued by any one of the authorities mentioned here under along with application need not apply.

Age Limit: (As on 17.03.2023)

Relaxation of Age: 05 years for General/OBC candidates & 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates (As per OM dated 03.10.2013 of DoPT, Govt. of India, relating to Consolidated Instructions on Incentives for sportspersons)

Selection Process:
| The applications will be scrutinized & suitable candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process. The selection will be conducted through document verification, trials and written test as found necessary, which will be announced in due course. |

The duly filled application forms as per Annexure-II should be sent to in a closed cover super scribed with the words “Application for Recruitment in Sports Quota for the Post of Inspector/Tax Assistant/Multi-Tasking Staff” only through Registered/Speed Post on or before 17.03.2023 (31.03.2023 for candidates domiciled in North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir).
