The Postcard Hotel is a brand of intimate luxury hotels offering experiential and personalized living. The team at The Postcard Hotel feels that travel needs to be experiential and transformative, somehow most of the hotels were focused more on the product than the experience. The Postcard Hotel Team want to create hotels that are aimed squarely at the leisure audience and will be in destinations by the sea, in the mountains or jungles rich in wildlife.

Our team is committed to building and operating 50 hotels in the next 5 years. As we start operations, the hotel company today has INR 600 crores of assets under management. Currently operating in 8 locations in India and abroad and in the next 12 to 18 months, The Postcard Hotel will be present in seven more destinations across the country from Ravangla in Sikkim to Maravanthe Beach by the Arabian Sea.

Job Description for Hotel Operations Manager:

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will lead the guest services team to create unforgettable hospitality experiences for our guests.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Managing all aspects of the resort.
  • Supervise and delegate duties; ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure the highest standard of guest services.
  • Train the team to improve 360-degree hospitality for guests.
  • Be responsible for all F & B, Housekeeping, Front office & backend operations.
  • Handling guest requests/complaints and resolve it in the best manner.
  • Employee engagement & management.

Skills and Experience:

To successfully fill this role, we are looking for someone with right attitude, behaviors, skill-set, experience and values that follow:

  • Service focused personality is essential and a passion for guest delight.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations.
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
  • Strong knowledge about hotel operations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be good with local language and understanding of local culture,
