Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) –Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. Junior Accounts Officer –Essential: i) Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute. ii) Three year experience in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.Desirable: Candidates having CA/ICWAI/Company Secretary will be preferred.
3. Draftsman Grade-III – ITI Certificate or Diploma in Draftsman ship (Civil) from a recognized Institution /University.
4. Upper Division Clerk –Essential: Degree of a recognized University.Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.
5. Stenographer Grade – II –Essential: 12th Class passed from a recognized Board/University. Skill (Shorthand) Test (on Computer) at the speed of 80 wpm.
6. Lower Division Clerk –Essential:i) 12th Class passed from a recognized Board; and ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.

Age Limit: (As on 17.04.2023)

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) – 18-27years
2. Junior Accounts Officer – 18-30years
3. Draftsman Grade-III – 18-27years
4. Upper Division Clerk – 18-27years
5. Stenographer Grade – II – 18-27years
6. Lower Division Clerk – 18-27years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) – Level – 6 (Rs.35400-112400)
2. Junior Accounts Officer – Level – 6 (Rs.35400-112400)
3. Draftsman Grade-III – Level – 4 (Rs.25500-81100)
4. Upper Division Clerk – Level – 4 (Rs. 25500- 81100)
5. Stenographer Grade – II – Level – 4 (Rs. 25500- 81100)
6. Lower Division Clerk – Level – 2 (Rs.19900-63200)

Selection Process:

First stage- Written Test (100 questions in 90 minutes MCQ based) will be held on Optical Mark Response (OMR) Sheet.

Second stage- In the case of UR, OBC and EWS Candidates will be shortlisted by 20 times of the vacancy while 50 times of the vacancy for SC/ST/PWD Category candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Documents verification (in original). If the candidate fails to appear for documents verification on the specific date and time, it will be presumed that the candidate is not interested in the post and his/her candidature is liable for rejection, without any further notice. Thereafter candidates for all the posts will be appeared a Computer Based Test (100 questions in 90 minutes) again. Rank position will be prepared based on the score secured by the candidates in the Second Stage Computer Based Test.

For the post of Stenographer Grade-II & LDC, candidates will be appeared in the Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing), which is a qualifying in nature and 7% mistake will be allowed in the Skill Test for UR, OBC & EWS and 10% for SC & ST candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee: 

An Application Processing Fee of Rs.890+ GST+ Bank Charges for General, OBC & EWS category and Rs.550+ GST+ Bank Charges for SC, ST and PwBD category candidate is payable through payment gateway. The application processing fee shall not be accepted in any other form. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Candidate(s) fulfilling all the above clearly laid down criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the NWDA website in the careers webpage under current openings section i.e. https://nwda.gov.in/ from 18.03.2023 to 17.04.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
