Educational Qualification:
| 1. Level-2/3 –
12th Pass alongwith sports achievements -for non-technical posts. OR 10th with ITI Pass alongwith sports achievements -for technical posts. OR 10th Pass alongwith sports achievements. However, candidates having 10th qualification will be considered only for Technician categories, and their training period will be 03 years, unless they pass IT1 qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 06 months. |
| 2. Level 4 –
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, alongwith sports achievements. OR 1st Year B.Sc. (Physics) or 12th (+2stage) in Science (Physics or Maths) Pass alongwith sports achievements OR 12th (+2stage) with Stenography (Hindi or English as per scheduled standards for recruitment in RIYs. |
| 2. Level 5 – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, alongwith sports achievements.
– Persons if appointed as Clerk-cum-Typists have to acquire Typing proficiency of 30 W.P.M. in English or 25 W.P.M. in Hindi within a period of 4 years from the date of appointment. Till such time their appointment to the category will be provisional. – Candidates should possess the requisite educational qualification on or before the closing date of notification. Qualifications achieved after the closing date of notification will not be taken into consideration. – Any relaxation in minimum educational qualification as mentioned above is not permissible. |
| Note: Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative higher qualification.

Minimum Sports Norms-The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sportspersons against sports quota through Open Advertisement for both the team and the individual events in different Pay matrix levels of 7th PC shall be as under:

Selection Process:
SECR may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee:
For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only), with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex- Servicemen/ Persons with Disability/ Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class: Rs.250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges Candidates in this category should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible, but still apply, shall not be refunded.
