Educational Qualification: (As on 22.06.2022)
| 1. Deputy General Manager (Quality) –
Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. The candidate should have minimum 13 years of experience post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post engineering degree in the respective area of work as mentioned below:- i. Execution of pile foundations & pile caps, pier & pier caps, launching of concrete members and installation of bearings. ii. Experience in Pre-Stressing of structural members. iii. Experience in Fabrication and Erection of Composite Girders. iv. Conducting and witnessing of tests on; Major Construction Materials, Pile Load Tests, Span Load Tests and tests on Elastomeric Bearings and POT/PTFE Bearings. v. Should be well-versed with relevant Indian and International codes and Specifications. vi. Conversant with Preparation and Evaluation of Method Statements, Mix Designs and Quality Assurance Plans. vii. Conversant with Evaluation of Test Reports including NDT Reports as per codal provisions |
| 2. Deputy General Manager (Safety) –
Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC along with Diploma in Industrial Safety or Certificate in OSHA / NEBOSH / Safety Management by IOSH. The candidate should have minimum 13 years of experience post engineering degree or 11 years of experience post diploma and 7 years of experience post engineering degree. Out of overall years of experience, the candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) in major infrastructure works e.g. Metro /Railways/ Airports/ Highways/ Large Industrial or commercial or residential building projects. |
| 3. Assistant Manager (Environment) –
– Must be a M.E / M.Tech (Environment) graduate from a recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. – Should have 2 years of post-qualification executive experience and proven track record including preparation of EIA work/report for various construction projects. – Should monitor and comply with the statutory requirements of CPCB & TNPCB and liase for approval and clearences to be obtained with the respective boards. Desirable: – Experience in Metro Rail Projects / Railway Project (JICA/ADB etc., funded projects) and Environment clearance for Class A and Class B Project. – Experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (System Certification etc.,) involving preparation of documents for ISO 030001, OHSAS18001 and ISO5001. – Knowledge on addressing the funding agency of MDB’s E& S Safeguard requirements. Green Building knowledge about requirements of green building as per IGBC norms. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:

Selection Process:
The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination. The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.
Medical Examination: Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by CMRL. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure will be borne by the candidate. To & fro travel expenses for the medical test shall be borne by the candidate. The candidate who fails in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and decision of CMRL is final on this issue.

Unreserved & candidates falling under other catagory are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.300/- and SC/ST are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- (for processing & postage charge) either in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of M/s Chennai Metro Rail Limited, payable at Chennai or may transfer the fees through electronic mode to the below mentioned account and submit the NEFT receipt/acknowledgement details in a printed copy along with the application form

How to apply:
- Applications must be in response to our advertisement quoting “Employment Notification No.” and “Post applied for” in the application form.
- Applications should be submitted strictly as per the prescribed format of CMRL.
- Name of the “Post applied for” should be superscribed on the envelope containing the application.
- Candidates who fulfill the above requirement should submit duly filled application form as per attached format in hardcopy along with prescribed application fee (DD/NEFT) supported by Bio-Data and one set of self-attested copies of educational qualification certificate, experience certificate, birth certificate, community certificate and latest passport size photo through proper channel to the following address on or before 16.07.2022.
