Educational Qualification:
1. Project Associate – I (Ecology) –
Essential Qualification: Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates with a Masters’ Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Veterinary Sciences and/or who are pursuing or have completed their PhD need not apply for this post. Desired Qualifications: Candidate(s) with prior experience in sampling design and animal abundance estimation are preferred. Prior experience of sampling using camera trapping, distance sampling and radiotelemetry. Knowledge of GIS and GPS is desirable. Should be able to undertake arduous field work under rigorous conditions. |
2. Senior Project Associate (RS & GIS) –
Essential Qualification: Masters’ Degree in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geography or related fields with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University, with relevant work experience after obtaining the degree. Candidates who are pursuing or have completed their PhD need not apply for this post. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) ESRI products (ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro), b) spatial analysis and ecological modelling, c) management of spatial database, Remote Sensing and GIS analysis, d) statistical analysis, and e) report writing |
3. Project Scientist – II (Ecology) –
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University. AND Minimum three (03) years relevant experience post PhD. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modelling, b) statistical analysis, c) project design and coordination of multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection c) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals. |
4. Project Associate – II (Ecology) –
Essential Qualification: Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
