1. Project Scientist -III

Project Scientist – III ( For Atmospheric Instrumentation) (To be posted at Mahabaleshwar, Satara District, Maharashtra)

• Master’s Degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electronics / Instrumentation/ EEE) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

• Seven years of relevant experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities.

Project Scientist – III (For High Performance Computing Program) (i)Master’s Degree in Computer/Computational Science, Computer Application, Mathematics (including applied Maths and statistics), Physics and Meteorology or in other subjects with majors in computing, mathematics, or application to meteorology/ physics/ chemistry with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent. Or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology with minimum 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University or equivalent; Or MS in interdisciplinary studies with minimum 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University or equivalent; And (ii) Seven years experience in (a) Application/System software or (b) AI/ML model development or (c) HPC System/Network administration

• Three years proven research experience in Decadal prediction/Climate prediction/ Earth system modelling/ Climate modelling /Seasonal prediction/Decadal variability/Atmospheric modelling/Ocean modelling/Coupled (ocean atmosphere) modelling/Monsoon teleconnection.

Project Scientist – II ( For Atmospheric Chemistry) (To be posted at Mahabaleshwar) • Master’s Degree in Chemistry/ Physics/ Atmospheric Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

• Three years of research experience in atmospheric chemistry. Experience in environmental pollution with familiarization in any of the following GC/MS, Aerosol Mass Spectrometry, Ion Chromotograph, Precipitation collector etc. Demonstrated experience in atmospheric chemistry especially aerosol/precipitation. Familiarization and experience in using PILS-IC, GC/MS type equipment and offline sampling for atmospheric chemistry studies.

Project Scientist – II ( For ARTs/ Radar Remote Sensing) (To be posted at ART-CI facility at Silkheda, Sehore District)

•Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Instrumentation/Meteorology/ Electronics/ Radio Physics) or Bachelor Degree in Engineering and Technology (Electronics / Instrumentation/ EEE/E&T) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks

•Three years relevant experience in the field of atmospheric science such as (i) operation and maintenance of Doppler Weather Radars or radar wind profilers, ii) processing, analysis and interpretation of Doppler weather radar or Radar wind profiler data sets.

Project Scientist – II ( For ARTs/ Atmospheric Instrumentation) (To be posted at Silkheda, Sehore District, 50 km from Bhopal)

• Master’s Degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electronics / Instrumentation/ EEE/E&T) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

• Three years demonstrated experience in atmospheric science (i) operation, maintenance and calibration of atmospheric instrumentation relevant to weather parameters or atmospheric aerosols or atmospheric radiation or cloud precipitation microphysics or land surface parameters. (ii) demonstrated experience in participation in observational campaigns and interpretation of atmospheric observations.

Project Scientist- II (Atmospheric chemistry – gaseous and aerosol pollutants)

• B.Tech/BE (Environmental Engineering/ Atmospheric Sciences/Electronics/Instrumentation) with at least 60% marks from recognized University or equivalent. OR Master’s degree (Chemistry/Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/Meteorology) with at least 60% marks from a recognized University or equivalent

• Three years’ experience in air pollution research related to VOC chemistry and measurement.

Project Scientist –II ( Model Diagnostic)

3. Project Consultant – Project Consultant (Climate Variability and Prediction)

• Ph.D. in the fields of Ocean/atmospheric sciences/Physics/ Mathematics or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

• 20 years’ experience in the project management.

4. Program Manager –

• Ph.D. in the fields of Ocean Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences/Marine Sciences/ Physics from a recognized University or equivalent. • 20 years’ experience in relevant field.

5. Project Scientist- I – Project Scientist I (Climate Variability and Prediction) Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Statistics with minimum 60% marks or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Project Associate – I (CAD-C) M.Sc. in Atmospheric Sciences Physics/Environmental Science from a recognized university/institution OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

8. Project Associate-II – Project Associate II (Climate Variability and Prediction)

• Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Statistics or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Project Associate – II (For Urban Radar Network in Mumbai)

• M.Sc. in Atmospheric Sciences Physics/Environmental Science from a recognized university/institution OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Project Associate – II ( CDAC)

• 2 years’ experience in Research and Development, industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

9. Technical Assistant – Bachelor’s degree in Science / 3 Years diploma in Engineering & Technology
10. Associate Engineer (Electrical) –

• B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics/ Electrical/ Power Engineering from recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks.

• A minimum of 03 years work experience in Electrical Projects and Maintenance.

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
