Responsibilities Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job ID JR-033499

• Will carry out DNA isolation from various specimens
• Will carry out the DNA quantification and quality checks.
• Will assist in conducting BoBs assay. Once competent will conduct BoBs independently but under supervision.
• Will assist with PCR tests and sanger sequencing tests as needed.
• Will be involved in discussions to improve the MDx Unit with inclusion of new tests
• Take entire responsibility for the DNA isolation process- routinely maintain the proposed TAT
• Samples from receipt to reporting and storage and ensure TAT compliance in all preliminary processes
• Assist team in other tests such as MCC, QFPCR and other PCR based tests.
• Once competent will conduct these tests independently
• Prepare monthly reports as needed for the number of samples processed,
• reported and cancelled.
• Takes ownership of the processes and tasks handed over – maintenance of common instruments and pipettes; processing of samples for outsourced tests
• Take responsibility for following quality SOPs and GLP.
