Role Summary

• GM Manufacturing will be responsible to oversee Manufacturing function for Animal Feeds Business, ensuring effective and efficient use of facilities, technology and people.
• Provide strategic inputs to CEO in terms New Technology, Innovation & Best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance and quality standards are consistently met.
• Plan and review production strategy to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goal standards are met.
• Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance as per existing regulations, through collaboration with EHS,HR and compliance teams.
• Works closely with the CEO on the long range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
• Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
• Organizes departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
• Works with chief financial officer to develop and execute operating budget.
• Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.
• Supervises equipment purchase, maintenance, and layout.
• Actively part of any other special projects that comes up.

Position Requirements:

• BE/B Tech with at least 15 years of experience in a manager of manager capacity. Extensive understanding of best in class technology
• Willing to travel extensively across the country
• Strong people skills
