Educational Initiatives


Assessments team is in charge of creating and delivering high quality assessments, capacity building and technical enhancement programs as part of Ei Shiksha, a vertical of EI that exclusively works with low-income or government schools. It takes Ei ‘s expertise in assessments, educational research, and technology-based personalized adaptive learning and builds solutions/programmes/products contextualised for the B-o-P settings. This is done in collaboration with state governments, international grant makers, corporate foundations, and NGOs. Over the past two decades, Ei Shiksha has undertaken over 80+ projects with 35+ clients (16+languages, 40+ detailed studies published) across geographies, socio-linguistic backgrounds in India and abroad, for more than 10 million students across different grades.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

I. Operations and Strategy

  • Lead the Project Management Unit of World Bank-APSALT project based out of AP Ed. Dept. Office
  • Plan and execute all activity streams with adherence to timelines and financials
  • Lead meetings, communications and relationship management between Ei, AP and WB
  • Manage Ei’s internal information and knowledge repositories
  • Ensure error-free deliverables like assessment tools, analyses aligned to project requirements

II. Large Scale Assessments, Capacity Building and Technical Transformation

  • Manage all activities pertaining to creation and recruitment of State Assessment Cell
  • Plan, create and execute teacher training on competency-based assessments
  • Create and execute large scale benchmarking and diagnostics assessments at state level
  • Establish and develop technical capacity of the state to create and conduct high-quality assessment

III. Organizational Development

  • Ensure capacity building and training of the team through regular learning and development
  • Expand the scope of projects by high quality dissemination-States Interaction, working paper set
  • Travel for the project needs and documenting trip reports of the same appropriately.

Educational Qualifications :

•Post graduates in Management, Operations, Education, Humanities or Social sciences preferred

Experience Required :

•Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in delivering large-scale education programs working with the government

•Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Telugu
