Educational Qualification:

1. Senior Agricultural Engineer 

Educational: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Experience: Five years’ experience in Operation and Maintenance of tractors, Agricultural Machinery and allied equipments including teaching experience in any Government or private listed organization; Or Five years’ experience in handling independently testing and evaluation of farm machinery and agricultural implements in any Government or private listed organization. DESIRABLE: Post Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute

2. Agricultural Engineer –

Educational: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University.

Experience: (i) Two years’ experience in testing and evaluation of agricultural Machinery from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organizations OR (ii) Two years’ experience of teaching or as a trainer, including experience in operation or maintenance of tractors and agricultural implements or machinery, the experience sought is to be from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organizations.

DESIRABLE: One year practical experience of mechanized farming practices.

3. Assistant Director (Corporate Law) –

Educational: (i) Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute; OR (ii) Integrated Bachelor degree in Law (Five Years’) from a recognized University or Institute; OR (iii) Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute and Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Desirable: (i) One year experience in the field of Corporate Law, (ii) Should be conversant with the tools and techniques of collection of evidence or recordings of statements and presentation of evidence in proceedings.

4. Assistant Chemist –

Educational: Masters Degree in Chemistry /Organic Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable: Two years experience in Ground Water Analysis and Ground Water Chemistry work from any recognized Institute or autonomous body/Government organization.

5. Assistant Hydrogeologist –

Educational: Master of Science Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Earth Science and Resource Management or Hydrogeology or Master of Technology in Engineering Geology from a recognized University.

6. Junior Time Scale (JTS) –

Educational: (i) Degree of a recognized University, (ii) Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labour Law from a recognized University or Institution.

Desirable: Degree in Law from recognized university.

7. Assistant Chemist –

Educational: Master’s Degree in any branch of Chemistry OR Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/ Institution OR Degree or Diploma conferred by the Associate Institute of Chemist (India) in Chemistry.

8. Assistant Geologist –

Educational: Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Geo-chemistry or Marine Geology or Earth Science & Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Coastal Geology) or Environmental Geology or Geo-informatics from a recognized University or Institution.

9. Assistant Geophysicist –

Educational: Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; or BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.

10. Assistant Chemist –

Educational: Masters’ Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or institution.

Experience: Two years’ experience in chemical analysis of ores and minerals from a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or Department of Science and Technology or any other such Government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and mineral.

11. Lecturer (Education Technology/Computer Education) –

Educational: (i) Masters degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications/ Information Technology with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. (ii) M.Ed./MA (Education) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

12. Lecturer (English) –

Educational: (i) Masters degree in Language (English) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. (ii) M.Ed./MA (Education) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

13. Lecturer (Hindi) –

Educational: (i) Masters degree in Language (Hindi) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.(ii) M.Ed./MA (Education) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

14. Lecturer (Humanities) –

Selection Process:

UPSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

1. Recruitment Test (RT)
2. Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee: 

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
