Educational Qualification:
| 1. Project Scientist B (Medical / Non-Medical) –
For Medical: – MBBS Degree with one-year experience in research/training. OR – MD in Microbiology/Pathology/PSM from a recognized University. For Non-Medical: – First class Masters degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with two years’ experience in related field. OR – Second class Masters degree with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized University. Desirable Qualification and Experience For Medical: – A Doctorate or a Post Graduate Degree MD//MPH/MAE in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University/ Institute – Additional Post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in above subjects in recognized institute(s) – Experience of surveillance activity research, including monitoring and supervision – Knowledge of Computer applications and statistical Packages. – Knowledge of Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. For Non-Medical: – Working knowledge in the area of disease surveillance and project management. – Good communication skills: scientific writing as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and official communications. – Knowledge of literature review using reference managers, data handling, analysis, interpretation and report writing. – Working knowledge of statistical software including SPSS/Stata/R. – Working knowledge of MS Office. – Knowledge of Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. |
| 2. Project Technical Assistant –
– Bachelor degree in Electronic media/Mass communication/Cinematography/Electronics/visual arts from a recognized university with three years work experience in videography/ multimedia/ graphic designing/ visual editing/ TV program production OR – Master degree in Electronic media/Mass communication/Cinematography/Electronics/visual arts from a recognized university Desirable Qualification and Experience – Master degree in Electronic media/Mass communication/Cinematography/Electronics/visual arts from a recognized university – Knowledge of computer applications for video/audio editing – Experience in graphic designing, video shooting/production/editing and webpage designing |
| 3. Project Technical Assistant (Senior Treatment Supervisor) – Graduate in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences from a recognized University with three years’ work experience in public health project / health care management from a recognized institution (OR) Master’s degree in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences / Public Health / Epidemiology
Desirable Qualification and Experience – Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint – Data management and data analysis – Preparation of reports – Communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders – Knowledge of Local Language |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:
| 1. Project Scientist B (Medical / Non-Medical) –
For Medical: Consolidated salary of Rs.61,000/- (plus HRA) For Non-Medical: Consolidated salary of Rs.48,000/- (plus HRA) |
| 2. Project Technical Assistant – Consolidated: Rs.31,000/- per month |
| 3. Project Technical Assistant (Senior Treatment Supervisor) – Rs. 31,000/- per month |
