ICMR – NIE DEO & UDC Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: (
| 1. Project Assistant (Field) –
– Graduate degree in Sociology/ Social Science/ Social Work/ Life Science from recognized university with three years’ work experience in public health project/ health care management from a recognized institution OR – Master’s degree in Sociology/ Social Science/ Social work/Life science/ Public Health/ Epidemiology from a recognized university. Desirable Qualification and Experience: – Knowledge of computer application. – Experience in working as part of a research project team. – Fluency in English and/or Hindi |
| 2. Project Data Entry Operator (Grade- A) –
Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Typing certificate in English Lower / Higher issued by State Government. |
| 3. Project Technical officer – Graduate in Psychology or Social Work from a recognized university with 5 years of relevant work experience from a recognized institution. (OR) Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work and Public Health from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: – Knowledge of computer applications – Use of Statistical packages in handling large volume of Health Data. – Should be able to converse with patients in local vernacular language – Experience in research projects, data collection, sample collection and good communication skills – Two-year experience working in the community in the field of mental health/counselling services |
| 4. Project Data Entry Operator (Grade-A) – Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board. AND A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Desirable Qualification and Experience : – Typing certificate in English Lower / Higher issued by State Government – Knowledge in using Microsoft office tools for data entry, and visualization |
| 5. Project Upper Division Clerk –
– 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years’ experience of administrative work (OR) – Graduate in any discipline with 2 years experience of administration work. – A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer Desirable Qualification and Experience: – Good written and oral communication skills in English. -Advance computer knowledge (Data management, editing and DTP) – Experience in online course management. |
| 6. Project Consultant (Medical) –
1. MD / DNB in Community medicine/PSM or Master’s degree in Epidemiology / Applied Epidemiology / Public Health / DPH / India – EIS (FETP) after MBBS or PhD in Epidemiology/Public Health after MBBS. AND 2. Published papers. Desirable Qualification and Experience: – Experience in managing field-based health research surveys. – Experience in writing research manuscripts. – Proficiency in Tamil. – Knowledge of Computer Applications and Data Management. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:
