Educational Qualification:  

1. Deputy Manager (Paint) – Full time regular Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University /AICTE approved institution.

Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Paint Technology.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have 4 years post qualification work experience in handling painting related activities in Shipbuilding Industry and relevant managerial work experience in Painting function with exposure to paint specifications, QA of paint and test / trial methods, procedures.

2. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) – Full time regular Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University /AICTE approved institution.

Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate/Diploma/Certificate Course in Shipbuilding related area from any Government recognized university / AICTE approved institution. Research experience with reputed institute – class authorities. Working knowledge of computers preferably in SAP / ERP/AUTOCAD modules.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have 4 years relevant post qualification work experience in managing functions in Technical Services/ Designing Department /Production/Commercial/ Quality Assurance in Shipbuilding/ Ship Repairs or Manufacturing Industry.

Desirable Experience: Relevant work experience preferably in the area of Ship construction/Ship Design and Quality/ISO certification. Working knowledge of floating and responding Tenders / Bids / RFPs to national and global agencies and working knowledge of AUTOCAD/CAD/CAM/TRIBON.

3. Deputy Manager (Naval Architecture) –

Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Naval Architecture from a recognized University /AICTE approved institution.

Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate/Diploma/Certificate Course in Shipbuilding related area from any Government recognized university / AICTE approved institution. Research experience with reputed institute – class authorities. Working knowledge of computers preferably in SAP / ERP modules, MS- office & Internet.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have 4 years relevant post qualification work experience in managing functions in Technical Services/ Designing Department /Production/Commercial/ Quality Assurance in Shipbuilding/ Ship Repairs or Manufacturing Industry.

Desirable Experience: Relevant work experience preferably in the area of Ship construction/Ship Design and Quality/ISO certification. Working knowledge of floating and responding Tenders / Bids / RFPs to national and global agencies.

4. Deputy Manager (Electrical/ Electronics) –

Essential Educational Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication from a recognized University /AICTE approved institution.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have 4 years relevant post qualification work experience in managing functions in Technical Services/ Designing Department /Production/Commercial/ Quality Assurance in Shipbuilding/ Ship Repairs or Manufacturing Industry.

Desirable work experience – He / She may possess the work experience preferably in the area of Ship construction/Ship Design and Quality/ISO certification. Working knowledge of floating and responding Tenders / Bids / RFPs to national and global agencies.

5. Deputy Manager (Finance) –

Essential Educational Qualification: Graduate AND qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / qualified Cost Accountant from Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Desirable Qualification: M.B.A in finance from universities/ AICTE approved institution.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have 04 years post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts/ Audit.

Desirable Experience: Treasury management that includes investment of surplus funds, price negotiations accounts, liaison with financial institutions for fund based/non fund-based facilities, Forex management, Pay Roll, Vendors payment, Internal Audit, Finalization of Annual Accounts in compliance with all statutory requirements, Corporate Taxation, Indirect Taxation, Costing and Budgeting in an ERP environment.

6. Assistant Manager (Finance) –

The essential work experience should have been completed not earlier than three years from the cutoff date i.e. 28.02.2022 as per the advertisement. The candidate who has completed the essential work experience prior to 28.02.2019 and was employed in the field related to the essential work experience between 28.02.2019 and 28.02.2022 for any length of time, will also be considered.

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 2. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) – Rs. 50000-3%-160000(E-2)
3. Deputy Manager (Naval Architecture) – Rs. 50000-3%-160000(E-2)
4. Deputy Manager (Electrical/ Electronics) – Rs. 50000-3%-160000(E-2)
5. Deputy Manager (Finance) – Rs. 50000-3%-160000(E-2)
6. Assistant Manager (Finance) – Rs. 40000-3%-140000(E-1)

GSL may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee: 

An application fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Non-Refundable) in favor of “Goa Shipyard Limited” payable at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa is to be submitted per application. Application without prescribed fees shall be liable for rejection. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee, as per Government of India rules. No fee is required to be paid by internal candidates who apply for the said post.
