Educational Qualification:
| Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) course from AICTE approved Institute / University in the relevant disciplines of Engineering 55% and above in the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
Post qualification Relevant Industrial Experience (as on 01.09.2022): 1. Minimum 1 Year post-qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory to apply for the post of Trainee Engineer – I from the concerned discipline. 2. Minimum 2 Years of post-qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory to apply for the post of Project Engineer-I from the concerned discipline. |
Age Limit: (As on 01.09.2022)

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through BEL official Notification 2022 for more reference.
Salary Details:
| Trainee Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of 2 years which may be extended upto maximum of One year (Maximum tenure of 3 years) based on requirement and individual performance . Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/-, Rs. 35,000/-and Rs.40,000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively.
Project Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of 3 years which may be extended upto a maximum of one year (Maximum tenure of 4 years) based on project requirement and performance of the Project Engineer. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/-, Rs. 45,000/- Rs.50,000/- and Rs.55,000/- for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year respectively. In addition to above a consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance etc. The additional amount shall be paid in two instalments. First instalment will be processed in the first month’s salary after joining and the second instalment will be paid after completion of 6 months from the date of joining. |
Selection Process:
| The selection will be done through Written Test followed by Interview of the eligible shortlisted candidates. |

| Application Fee for Trainee Engineer-I (Electronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical) and Project Engineer-I (Electronics & Mechanical) to be remitted by DD in favour of “Bharat Electronics Limited” payable at Navi Mumbai is required to be attached along with application. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. The details are as under.
a] Trainee Engineer-I : General , EWS and OBC(NCL) candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 177/- (Application Fee – Rs. 150/- plus 18% GST). b] Project Engineer-I : General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 472/- (Application Fee – Rs. 400/- plus 18% GST). |
